About the United Fantasy Sports League

A fun fantasy football league is a group of friends or colleagues who draft their own team of real-life NFL players and compete against each other based on the players' statistical performance. The league typically lasts for the entire NFL season and culminates in a championship game between the top teams. To add an element of excitement, the league can have unique scoring systems, trade deadlines, waiver wires, and even incorporate fun team names and trash-talking between members. Prizes, such as bragging rights or small monetary rewards, can be given to the winner at the end of the season. Overall, a fantasy football league combines the love of the NFL with friendly competition and camaraderie. The first United Fantasy Sports League (U.F.S.L.) draft commenced on September 1st, 2012, at 1 pm EDT. The league went by a default name at the time since it was the start of something new. The UFSL is a season-long fantasy league, an “old-fashioned” one where you draft your team at the beginning of the season and follow the action each week. Our league starts in NFL Week 1 and runs through Week 18 of the NFL regular season.
